Requestsĭon't hesitate to send me an email if there's a certain kind of follower you're looking for. If you know anything about modding, this is incredibly easy to change: just open the mod in the Creation Kit, double-click the NPC in the Actor list and select the Protected setting (if you're really hard core you can deselect Protected and Essential and enemies will be able to kill your followers like normal NPCs). Many people find accidentally killing companions annoying and frustrating, so I've opted to go with the Essential setting for these companions. The only difference between Essential and Protected is whether or not you (the player) can kill them. Skyrim's followers are set to Protected by default. At worst, your companion will still use the hunting bow as he or she would in the original game. If you use another follower mod that does more than add a simple companion, place it later in the load list so that that mod's changes can overwrite the changes made in my companion mods.

This is a very common change that many follower mods make. If you notice a conflict, send me an email and I'll try to fix it, but I'm not going to go out of my way to make my mods compatible with potentially hundreds of other mods.Īs indicated above, I do make a change to the DialogueFollower quest to 'fix' the hunting bow issue (by removing it). I don't use any of these mods myself, so you're on your own here.

These followers use Skyrim's built-in follower mechanic, so they should be compatible with most mods that improve followers. Sylgja will return to Shor's Stone, Erdi to the Blue Palace, etc.)
